Old Railway Junction, a rustic country home by Frau Engel. These are only a few pictures of this absolutely beautiful lot.
Luna’s sim page has some amazing things, but it can be incredibly difficult to navigate (at least it is for me). Check out all of the “Mixtures” (Misc) pages. It’s where I found this windowseat/shelf set that I’m going to be using ALL THE FREAKING TIME because I’m so in love with it. Looks like a built-in!

OAKSHORE BETA
This tiny world has been getting a lot of attention because my friend eversims has been working on decorating it. I decided to release a revised version— edited the road placement, greatly improved the textures, and replaced the ugly bridge with a Riverview bridge.This release is a beta— it has no lots, and it’s up to you to play around with it and make it your own.
Important Information:
- THIS IS A BETA. INSTALL COMPLETELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. I have not playtested this thoroughly and there might be some bugs or some routing issues. I highly doubt anything about this world will explode your entire game though. I will not be providing help with this release.
- REQUIRES RIVERVIEW BRIDGES FROM MODTHESIMS. There is no way to package the bridges with a world currently. Go download them from HERE (at the bottom of the post).
- Requires WA. I used red maple trees from WA.
- No lots have been placed. This is up to you (hence beta).
- Not playtested (hence beta).
- It is not pre-populated. My taste in puddings may not be your taste in puddings.
Credits:
- I used a MySimRealty heightmap as the base terrain for this world, because I couldn’t properly morph terrain to match the edges of the Sunset Valley distant terrain myself (because I fail). Other than a vague part of the heightmap it has pretty much nothing in common with the original world, as I didn’t even keep any roads or textures from it whatsoever, and sculpted 90% of the terrain all over again.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
- Having trouble getting the world to show up in your main menu? This is a bug with installing worlds since the 1.42 patch. Workarounds can be found in this thread HERE.
- Can’t place a blank lot in Edit Town? This is a game-wide issue, especially if you are trying to place a lot where another lot used to be (and got demolished). If you are placing a lot where another lot once was, save your game and exit to the main menu. Then reload. If you are having trouble getting a lot to snap to the road, hold down your ALT key while placing the lot, as it allows finer placement. You can also rotate it freely so you can get it to match the angle of the road.
- HELP Riverview Redux broke my game what do I do?! Shouldn’t break your game, but if you want to uninstall it, you need to go into the Nonpackaged > Worlds directory you installed it to via the instructions in the MTS link and simply delete the file. Make sure to delete any saves you have in the world as well.

I recently saw these wonderful TS2 wall recolors, and fell in love with them. I was going to convert them until I realized, it was really the patterns that made the simple wooden baseboards amazing. And since there is an abundance of baseboards in TS3 already, I figured I’d just convert the patterns. So I give you, 19 patterns. They’re all tested in game, and look great on walls, but also work on clothing and furniture.
Obviously I plan on converting more of them, these are just what I have so far. All of them were created in CAP so they aren’t recolorable, but you can change the hue of the colors in CAS, which often will change the look of the pattern completely. Since they aren’t my patterns, I take no credit for them, I simply converted them.

Day six’s gift ;3
This is Snowdrop Cottage! It has four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a utility room, a garage, a pool, a huge garden, a kitchen/dining room and a biiig lounge. (Also a cupboard by the stairs which could fit a staircase if you wanted to make a basement maybe idk)
It’s built on a 40x40 lot so there’s lots of room for extensions and such in the case of growing families. It costs §57,655 and is mostly unfurnished, apart from the upstairs bathrooms, lights, the garden and the utility room.
I only used four pieces of custom content when making this house. It’s been run through delphy’s custard and there is no bad CC attached. Included in the sims3pack is one piece of CC: this door by lemoncandy@mts. There are three more pieces of CC that you will need to download and install seperately: these stairs (with this railing) and these mailboxes. I have WA, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Seasons and Uni installed, but the main EP you’ll need is university for the windows. You obviously don’t need any, but be aware that the game will just replace any objects with base game equivalents, so things might look strange.
Feel free to alter this house to your liking :3 if you use it, I hope your sims like living here!
