I have personally used and they are very safe and haven’t caused any problems (so don’t be worried!) two worlds from the amazing and super talented Awesims:

- St Claire It’s a very beautiful city with beautifully decorated lots, and many people have used it, although some says it can be slow/laggy so I recommend only if you have a decent computer with a lot of RAM

- Pounawea - This world is absolutely beautiful and the opposite of St Claire above, this is more like ‘sleepy town’ with lots of nature

I’ve never used the below, but have heard many people who use them (including on tumblr) and they seem to be trustworthy and very much loved:

- Queenstown (also by Awesims)

- Neverglade (on the exchange) plus there’s also a Neverglade makeover by TinyKatSims

- Legacy Island II (on the exchange, I’ve used the first LI and love it and do intend to try this update on it too one day)

- Prato di Livori (an empty Tuscan style world for you to fill with your own lots but looks stunning!)

- Gwendolyn Valley

- Ethan’s Drift

- Glendalough

There are many many more and I feel like I am definitely missing some other amazing ones… Feel free to also check out my downloads tag for the worlds as it has many more :)

I have in the past on my old laptop which wasn’t very good and I have to say I did notice a decrease in loading time and an overall general better game performance. On my new PC which is a much better computer (I think 16 GB of RAM helps this the most), I haven’t as even with a lot of CC and mods it runs and loads quickly for me. *Touch wood*.

Despite that I do plan to merge my package cc at some point when I have the time, so I do consider it worth it. As for it being easy? It is fairly simple in my opinion but if you are having any trouble google can find you plenty of help and also SimsFAQ here on tumblr have some links in their FAQ section, that I’m sure will be of help :)

To be honest I don’t download a lot from the exchange - but when I have done it has been from Yoteamo - who does the most absolutely amazing, stunning houses :) Also in the past I have downloaded from Chrillsims who does beautiful houses also

Perhaps some of my followers can recommend some others on the exchange?

This is the second message I have received anonymously complaining that I have not reblogged certain posts. Perhaps if you came off anon and messaged me with the links of these ‘really great things’ then I would reblog them. I do get messages from people asking me to check out their stuff and 9/10 I do think that I like it and reblog it, so I am not at all adverse to people pointing me in the direction of their or their friends posts.

I’m sure you don’t care but I have a 10 month old baby, a full-time job, another simblr (comesimwithme), plus a life seeing my family and friends. I do try my best to post all the things which I like and see on my dashboard.

Although I do love running Sim Designs, I am not a slave to it and I will not be bullied or feel obliged to post things just because you think I should.

Maybe the reason why I haven’t reblogged your stuff (if you are complaining about that) is because of your poor and rude attitude.

I’m pretty sure you have to have the moveObject cheat on.

To do this:
- Press CTRL + SHIFT + C on your keyboard all at the same time to get a little blue bar up at the top of your sims game
- type ‘moveObjects on’ exactly like that

You should now be able to put the blanket over beds :) If that doesnt work, let me know which in particular bed/blanket you are trying to use and I will have a look into it further :) 

(if you want to turn the cheat back off, type ‘moveObjects off)

thank you :) i just checked the dress in question and i dont know where i got it from as ive had it quite a while and cant track where it is from im afraid as it is really helpfully labelled only as ‘dresses’ with no reference to the cc creator or any other clue as to where i found it :(

can any of my followers help? it is this dress and it is found under ‘paintings’ and like i said it is described only as ‘dresses’ and also has ‘recolours’ in the description underneath

I personally use Sims 3 and have the World Adventures, Ambitions and Late Night expansion packs. A lot of the photos I reblog or post for ‘Simspiration’ the people use either Sims 2 or Sims 3 (I try to tag most of my posts if they are TS2 or TS3) and majority of them have several if not all of the expansion and stuff packs. 

Myself and almost 100% of the Simspiration posts also use some sort of ‘Custom Content’. You can find links on my page for CC to download from all over the web and also I have a few tutorials too on my page.

yes i have been working on this along with a whole re-design of my page with categories and sub-categories and other layout re-configurations, and the number one thing i want is definitely a link to say all the ‘living room’ designs so all the simspiration is there in just the living room category.

but with 2,512 posts (and counting!) it is taking a bit more time to check all the posts are labelled/tagged in a certain format, and with being pregnant and busy in the real life and as always too much time spent actually playing the sims, ive never got around to completing it yet! but soon mr grey face, soon :)

about making a house, i dont make them by request sorry! for various reasons: i dont think im that good at house building / ive never done a house request before / im a perfectionist who would worry that it wouldnt be good enough or that the download file wouldnt work / im too busy playing the sims / im too busy decorating my sims own homes / im pregnant and too busy eating ;)

ive had a few people ask me to make houses and i have considered it though. i probably wouldnt take a request for a certain style/type/size of house cause that is too challenging for me, but i have been considering building and decorating a house and putting it up for download, if anyone wants it. im especially thinking about this seriously now that i have hit a certain number of followers (which is ridiculous amount really and i want to give something back and i thought a house would be the best option)

i always wanted to wait until i got late night before making a house for download. but now ive got it,  let me play with the vampires and celebrities for a little bit and then i will make a house for people to download :)

Hey there. I had this problem once actually, it was a problem with some patterns that I added that were in .package format. Apparently there can be problems with patterns as .package. I removed the new pattern .packages that I had added and this problem stopped and hasn’t since occurred. I hope this helps you, if not please let me know and perhaps myself could investigate further or one of my other followers can help you

Off the top of my head I can’t think of any… I will have a proper look in my CC later but I’m not entirely sure I have any to be honest… Although I do have a lot of CC and its hard to keep track of it all, so maybe I do have some … somewhere!

This comes with the Generations EP …. I don’t have this EP though so dont know much about it
